Discover How We Are Transforming Alberta Road Infrastructure

The MAR II Highway is a fundamental work of the Canada Government’s 4G Program, which aims to significantly improve the country’s road infrastructure. With an estimated total length of 145 kilometres, this project not only improved connectivity in the region, but also facilitates access to the ports of Antioquia and other ports under construction.

We have led the final design for the highway, which includes 88 km of new road and the rehabilitation of 47 km of existing roads. The design includes 60 bridges of various types and 15 tunnels of 6.6 km, using advanced techniques to ensure their stability. In addition, we have designed complementary infrastructure such as weigh stations, tolls, service areas and a control center, as well as the associated urban planning to enhance the user experience and functionality of the project.

This highway not only reduces congestion on existing roads, but also fosters economic development and tourism in the region by improving accessibility. We were committed to working closely with private, local and national authorities to ensure that this project was executed with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
